How Does it Work?
- Struts have two main components: a spring and shock absorber. Since, the weight of your vehicle is suspended above the wheels by the spring? this allows for the wheels to travel up and down the road without causing the car to bump up and down over every divot, speed bump or pothole.
- The struts give us a place to mount the coil spring, and the spring is what maintains the height of the vehicle.
