Pep Boys Master Technician, Michael “Todd” Cooper, has been recognized by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) as the 2022 recipient of the Pep Boys/ASE Master Automobile Technician of the Year.
This award is given to an ASE certified automotive technician who is a top scorer on ASE certification tests and demonstrates high productivity, a commitment to community service, and overall excellence as a Pep Boys employee. Cooper currently serves as a Master Technician at Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires in Hemet, CA. With nearly three decades of service to Pep Boys, he is a highly skilled and experienced automotive technician.
Cooper shares his gratitude to Pep Boys noting, “Pep Boys supported me and put me through its training program, which has given me so many opportunities to succeed. I was encouraged by my team to take ASE certification exams, and I became both a master technician and smog technician. I am so grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received from Pep Boys along the way.”
