These tires are on a 2004 F150 FX4 owned by my employer. I put over 35k miles on a set over the last 20 months. They show a little bet of edge chop at this point, but have handled and worn well overall. Great stability and confidence inspiring, especially considering I do a lot of miles with trailers in tow. One key I've found is regular tire rotation (every 4k to 8k miles) really helps even the wear between tire locations. Looking forward to new shoes!

Just purchased Rugged trail T/A's for my 06 trailblazer and they have a real quiet ride and really absorbs the little bumps that i felt a lot on my old tires. I don't take my blazer baja-ing but I love the off road aggressive look of the tires really sharpens up any 4x4

Bought this tire for my 2010 Dodge ram 1500. Tire only last 12k miles. Very poor wear. Horrible traction in the snow. The wet weather is a little bit better. Dry was good. Off road was acceptable since it is an all terrain tire. A little noisy but bearable.

Have been buying BFG's for years and never had any complaints. The last were All Terrain TA's, and got 70k miles out of them. This time I opted for the Rugged Terrains. A friend asked me some time ago about what tire brand I liked the best and I told him BFG's. He bought the Rugged Terrains and is extemely pleased with them, and he said when it comes time to replace them he will purchase the same tire again. We both use our vehicles on highways, mountain roads and sand. So far I have not experienced any negative issues with them. And will continue using BFG's in the future.

put 4 rugger terrain on 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 4wd. Great riding and handling tire. Much better ride and stopping than the grappler A/T tire I was replacing. Just purchased but great tire!

I used to have an 08 JGC and used the All Terrain TAs but you cant get them for this Jeep..so the tire service center suggested I use this tire after taking another brand back because they wore so bad..these are the best I have used on this Jeep and will never buy any other..Jeeps run the outside edge hard on the fronts and these are perfect with the thicker tread on the outside edge...best I have used!

I purchased two tires to replace 5 year old All terrain T/A KO tires in September 2013. In only 5 months and less than 5 thousand miles (mostly highway), they have about 3mm of tread left. They are quieter than the all terrain but no where near the life. They will have to be replaced with less than a year of use! I drive an F150 lariat supercab. Pay the extra $50 or so to get the All terrain. These tires should be removed from the market.

I use the tires on my 2003 Ford F250. I loved the Rugged Trail tires. I drive 85% on highway and 15% offroad. I haul between 8K and 20K lbs on bumper pull and gooseneck trailers when towing. I DO NOT like the soft sidewall feel and break over feel of these tires. They are a squirmy feel and I run them with 80psi period. I feel nervous driving with heavy loads but cannot afford another 1000 bucks for more tires. I can also tell they are NOT going to last like the Rugged Trail tire. I would NOT recommend them and will NOT purchase them again.

BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain T/A. I drove from Minnesota to Nebraska in 4X4, 14 inches of snow and 3" inches of ice in these doing 50mph, during a blizzard last year in April. I was the only person not in a ditch. No issues. Un-freaking believable. Load Test isn't amazing (2185@44 psi), but even with my 20's i've pulled 3/4 ton of rock and dirt with em. I couldn't believe I never lost traction in those conditions and only wish they had a higher load rating (which isn't even stamped on the tire, they have a weird thread count also an uneven number?) so they're like D but less than E. or they are a HIGH C, LOW D. cant remember. they're weird.

I love my new set of BFG Rugged Terrain T/A's. The ride is comfortable, smooth, and even stable and strong enough to do my weekend warrior trips off road. The highway ride is quiet and the wet/snow grip is exactly what I've been looking for in a tire...BFG only for me going forward! (especially with the warranty they offer of the tires)

Well, not a bad tire at all. I have got 10k on them and still ride smooth. The still look new. Only complaint or small complaint. I am picking up some road noise on roads but if the pressure is getting low. Before I had no noise. They do beat the long trails in traction and still grip very well around the turns.

Of the 13 times I have bought new tires, since I do not buy used tires, 9 of them have been BFG, radial T/A 4 times, mud T/A 1, all terrain T/A 1, advantage T/A 1, Ecentia GT 1, and the Rugged trail T/A 1, every one of these has been exceptional in quality and has met my expectations without fail, except the Rugged Trail T/A's. That I have gotten for my escape. they are extremely noisy at any speed and in the snow they do not do as well as they look like they would. They look great, but that is their best feature. That being said, I am still a BFG fan and buyer probably for life, I don't feel 1 sub standard set of tires out of 9 sets will stop me from coming back, and since I know the same tire can act completely different depending on vehicle and driving style, this tire maybe awesome, just not for a Ford escape.

I purchased these tires back in Feb 2012 and have ~ 41000 miles on them. I had my oil changed recently and was told that they need to be replaced. Within the last month or so I have noticed that they are really noisy. They measure out to about 3/32. I now need to replace these tires but I will not replace them with Rugged Terrain.

Bought these tires at a national retailer. Put them on a 2006 Dodge Ram that I occassionally drive. After less than 12000 miles , tread depth was 2/32. I would not recommend these tires to anyone, and I replaced the tires after getting 70% retail value with the BFG All Terrain.

I bought these tire to replace the stock ones that came on my truck. I was very happy at first with them. They performed very well on all terrains and weather conditions. The downfall I have experienced is the treadwear. They say 50k miles but I have put close to 20k miles on them and they are almost down to the replacement indicators!! I have rotated them on a strict schedule to prevent uneven wear and still they have worn down way too fast! Good tires as long as the tread lasts. Hopefully the company will honor somekind of warranty.

After years of running BFG ATs and MTs I purchased a set of Rugged Terrain LT275 70 18's in the spring of 2011 for my Ram 2500 CTD and have not been disappointed. Since that time I have racked up 65k miles on them and they are still not all the way down to the wear bars. I have rotated them every 6k and the wear is incredible, it's almost a challenge now to see how many miles I can get out of them but being so close to winter I will be forced to purchase another set. Keep in mind this is on a HD Diesel pickup and they are listed as a 50K mile tire..... I drive mostly on pavement, the noise is minimal through all stages of wear, handling is outstanding as well. The only negative I have is a slight radial pull in one of the tires that I have just lived with off and on depending on tire position. No question that I will replace with the identical tire. Thanks BFG for building a killer tire.

I have had these tires for just over three years. I have driven with them on the highway or around town almost exclusively. I have them on my 2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 and when I took them in for rotation today I found out that they were too worn to rotate again. I can't be upset because I put these on at about 42,000 miles and I now have just over 132,000 miles on my truck. I had these rotated and balanced every 3-5 thousand miles and they have given me nothing but safe and comfortable travels. I will put another set on my truck!!

The 4 ea. LT2857017's perform well and corner VERY well on dry pavement, dry soil roads and even deep dry sand. These tires perform well in mud and appear to clean themselves easly. However as with all tires, when in heavy clay soils, they ball up easly. These tires were purchased in early 2012, the first sold by the dealer. Advertised as 70K mile tires, and All Terrain tires that would not be noisy, they now have 25K miles and are wearing like iron. These tires continuely haul 34' stock trailers on soil roads and they still have the tire mold "wiskers" attached. They corner better than the 10 ply Michelens that came on the truck. The first 10 - 15K miles the tires were very quiet, however around 17K miles and after, they have become very noisy - on pavement! If you do a lot of freeway driving, they will become noisy. However they "corner" like steel rails and so far are lasting like iron. If you do a lot of gravel road driving - I doubt you can beat them for their conrning ability, wear ability and weight carrying capacity. But remember - they WILL throw small stones!

I purchased these tires for my 1998 Blazer ZR2. It had B.F Goodrich tire when it was new and I have always replaced them with the same brand and size. I don' have many miles on the tires yet, so I can't rate the wear life. I like the tires very much. The only thing I don't like is that the tread design has been changed and the new tread produced a lot more noise at high way speeds. Especally on the interstates. I think that Goodrich should return to the old tread design. I run 30 psi in the tire as per owners manual, but I don't know if a slightly hirer tir pressure would lessen the road noise? But still overall a great tire.

Bought set of these 2 weeks ago for my 2009 Frontier. They drive very well. Great traction. Great steering response. Great braking. Very noisy. My brother had bought the All Terrain T/A's for his Frontier and I was very impressed with how quite that aggressive tire was. Since they were so quite I figured that the Rugged Terrain T/A being less aggressive and a newer design would be quite as well. Wrong. With the exception of a few trucks with big mud tires in my younger days, these are the noisiest tires I have ever experienced. Love the way they handle but noise level is so high I will never buy again.

The Rugged Terrain tire is a perfect for for me. It was made for trucks like my f150 that do mostly highway and street driving, but also like to head off road every now and then. Beside the rugged all terrain look, it's quiet, handles nicely, and does great off road. Im glad I picked this tire!!!

I work out of my 2010 F250 truck everyday. Pull horse trailer all winter field trialling bird dogs. These tires a assume! I have approx. 52,000 miles on them, just had them rotated and tread depth checked. My dealer said he thought that were good for another 15,000 to 20,000 miles! I change my oil and rotate my tires every 5,000 miles. Rotation free from my dealer.

Had these tires for a month and they grip!. They beat the Long Trails hands down. Very secure driving, even in the wet. Heck, I get a kick out people slowing down, not me. These tires did improve the comfort, handling and braking. The only drawback is they seem to tug a bit going down the highway at 80 but the ride is smooth. Hey, I can put up with a little tug now and then knowing I have a tire that is not going to slip.

We have the original tires on our 2004 F250 Ford super cab 4x 4 that tow our 32' travel trailer and 25' boat. It is mainly used for towing and hunting. The white wall lettering is starting to come off and the tires look okay shape with 79,000 miles on the truck. The tires have taken us on long journeys towing over 2,000 miles each way on some trips. Thinking of replacing them this year with the same tire since its been a great tire.

Bought a set of 4 of these tires from a membership warehouse. They look great, I like the tread design and they are pretty quiet on the highway. The problem with them is they will not balance properly. One of the four tires would not balance at all, I took my truck to the dealer where they did a road force balance and could not balance it, they said it was defective. I went back to the warehouse store and they finally replaced it but that was not a pleasent experience. The second tire took nine ounces to balance and they said my wheel was bent but I didn't have any problems before putting these tires on. My truck is only 8 months old and a daily driver on the highway. The previous set of OEM tires were as smooth as glass. I would avoid these tires!!! Not happy and they should be a much better tire for the price that I paid. My gas mileage also dropped by 2 miles per gallon!
