Just purchased the 225/50/17 for my 2010 Accord and its like bouncing on a trampoline. Will see if this is how they react ongoing. At this point as of day one, very unhappy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DrBob Dry rot in between the treads
After the terrible chicago area Winter I looked at my BFGoodrich Premium Touring tires to see all 4 of them purchased in September 2010 (now problem was discovered in March 2014--not noticed due to weather extremes this Winter) with 25 K miles on them to find them having some severe cracking from Dry Rot between the treads around the perimeter of all 4 tires. I am now seeking some sort of adjustment due to this premature kind of tire self destruction. I have data and info to take to the BFG dealer and see what happens. The real BAD news is I just put 4 brand new BFG tires of the same classifications on one of my other cars in early December 2013. My third car also has BFG--same classification and I have 2 other cars in need of tires in the next 6 months. We have 5 cars in our family and always trusted BFG tires before. I am hoping for some kind of adjustment on the cracked and dry rotted Premium Touring 215-65-16's. Wish me luck !!! If there is not an adjustment--then there will not be any more BFG's on any of my cars in the future.

Rated 2 out of 5 Giving them 1 more chance
After 6,200 mile my Advantage TA 225 55 R17 tire on my Chevy Impala had excessive sidewall cracking (only on the car 7 months, but 29 month old tires according to the DOT #'s), original retailer wouldn't stand behind them, called BF Goodrich direct, they gave me the name of a second retailer that replaced my tires with "new" Advantage TA. After 1000 miles this set of tires looks to be fine, I don't think you could find a tire with a better ride, if they hold up.

This was an excellent choice. By far the quietest ride and comfort for the price. BF Goodrich keep up the work in deigning superior tires. Glad I purchased these quality tires.

Rated 1 out of 5 Bald at 40K Miles
I got these tires for my Toyota Camry. They drive pretty well. However, after 40K miles, they are just about bald. I am disappointed that they didn't last longer. I rotated them frequently, but they just didn't last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by prowler316 Excellent Value Tire
Upon purchasing a set of 4 BF Goodrich tires, I wasn't sure if I made the right decision since I had always purchaced another premium brand. For the price, they are excellent tires. Very quiet, smooth and sturdy. That is important to a consumer, knowing there is still value at an affordable price.

So, these are my first Goodrich tires. I was shopping for Radial T/As actually, but my retailer doesn't stock those. The Advantage T/As are not as good looking as the white letter tires in 70 series, I think, but so far seem to handle very well. My MN12 platform Thunderbird feels a lot sharper with these on than any tire I've had so far, and that includes higher-priced competitors; a little twitchy even, but, maybe I just need to get used to the new handling characteristics.

Spectactular handling for the price. Base mustang comes w Traction T/A's and I got over 60,000 on those. These were $96 less and seem to handle just as well. This car is better than my Expedition in snow for a rear wheel drive car. Just as smooth at highway speeds. Expect to get another 60K!
