My install took a while b/c my license plate is on the tailgate of my 2008 Suburban. I had to splice in wires for power from the reverse light, etc. I had to run them up through the loom out of the gate and back into the truck body and around to the tailgate. I found a great youtube video that showed exactly how to accomplish this without removing any unnecessary panels. I suggest you look for one for your model; it's a big help. I also had to bend the bracket down a bit to be able to see my trailer hitch from that high up. But, the wireless camera feature meant I didn't have to run wires all the way up the dash. That was a huge time saver. I easily mounted the camera right to the dash and it has held for a month now. I'm pretty happy with it overall and find I use it every time I back up now. The screen is not DVD quality but it's good enough to see what's around and it adjusts for bright sunlight and dark. Works great for the price and I'm pretty happy with it.

Quality is not very good. Probably my fault for not doing more research, I was in a hurry and just bought it. I wished I paid more for a better quality system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by cobra1128 False advertised Wireless Back-Up Camera
Peak says it is a wireless back-up camera but it is not wireless you have to lay on the ground under vehicle run wires from the camera to the back-up light wires in the tail light which has to be removed from vehicle then run wires from there to the transmitter which has to be placed in the least restricted spot to avoid interference from metal and then you mount the monitor to the windshield with suction cups then run the power wire to the cigarette lighter/power point, oh yes there is no wires from the transmitter to the monitor I guess what Peak means by wireless. The instructions say it takes minutes to hook this system up this is false advertisement it took me 2 hours to do now I know why Pep Boys wanted $180 to install it which I declined and after I finished installing it I turned it on put the vehicle in reverse it looked good for about 2 seconds then the picture flashes and is distorted I checked all the wiring it was all hooked up properly but the same flash and distorting remains. The price of this product is too expensive at $139 and I would not recommend this faulty and falsely advertised product to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rip1 Recommend for overall performance
Ease of installation is very vehicle configuration dependent. Because of the need to run wires in the rear(camera, antenna, and rear signal wire connects) a good installation can be a bit of a sophisticated challenge. Mine was on a Pacifica, I'd guess not one of the easier ones with the lift back but a back camera is badly needed on this vehicle ). Works great once I installed. Picture quality is as good as expected. Recommend but try and understand what you will need to accomplish before purchasing.
