Aired up my 35x12.20x20's fairly easy. The only thing I suggest is that you get a longer hose.

This is the best portable compressor I have used. The connection to the battery is better than using the port in the car. It fills up the tire very quickly and is quiet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CaddOp Pumps up tires as fast as it is advertised
While deer hunting one of the buggies had a tire that was punctured. Added Slime but took a while to stop it, so I use the Tsunami to pump it up several times. I also added 10 psi to the front tires on my Dodge 3500 while hunting. All my hunting partners like the price and the speed at which it pumped up tires. I was really impressed with how smooth it ran. I could set it on the fender and there was no vibration at all. To me that is a sign of good workmanship. Well worth the price.

It works great. I've been very impressed with the quickness of this compressor.

I have used it twice now and it worked very well. I have bought a lot of 12 Volt compressors and they do not last. This one has a 3 year warranty and feels like it will last. I bought it on sale for $45. and it is worth that to me. This thing is heavy

Rated 5 out of 5 by hdsrob Works well so far
I bought this over several of the other well reviewed portable compressors due to the fact that it has a regular compressor quick release, so I can use my own hose for airing up my dually rear tires (the included hose on these compressors won't fit on the outer valve stems since they are reversed).
Overall I've been super happy with it, and have used it on my fifth wheel tires (@80 PSI), and truck tires (60 or 75 PSI), and it's done a good job getting all of them topped up in one pass.

I bought this compressor to inflate the tires on my fifth wheel. The tires have a slow leek that I cannot seem to locate. After a week of camping (3) of the tires consistently leak down to 40psi. I tested the MF-1050 and it pumped the tire from 40psi to 60psi in 3 minutes. With a 20 minute run time I can get all of the tires pumped up in less than 15 minutes. The only thing I would like to change on the compressor is the carry bag it comes with. It would be better if it came in a hard plastic case to provide better protection while in storage.

The compressor is just what I was looking for to fill up my tires quickly when I'm leaving the beach. Took off a star cause the canvas storage bag is cheap. The handle pulled off as I took it out of the box. Pep boys you think you can get the company to send a replacement????

by seivad1 Little Vibration & Quiet, A Rugged Little Unit
I did a lot of research on-line and based on the reviews both good & bad of many brands, I decided to purchase the MF-1050 today to replace my plastic model which was a brand name. Other than the air intake filter which is pretty flimsy, the rest of the unit appears to be very rugged. I tested it on my Ford E250 Econoline van by deflating one tire down to 40PSI, connected and started the compressor, it took approximately 30 seconds to inflate it back to the recommended 60PSI, NOTE: the pressure gauge is off by 5PSI. It's still too early to tell, but for the price I was really impressed. It would be nice if the instructions included an exploded view of the compressor parts and a link for parts should repairs to it are ever necessary. Overall, this is a rugged little compressor at a very reasonable price (20% off on-line), therefore I can't really complain. YES, I would definitely recommend this compressor to a friend...

I bought this compressor for on-board air for my wrangler. This with a 3 gal tank and a multi port air manifold will be all I need. I don't think you will be able to run air tools but you can fill a tire no problem.

This is the best compressor you can buy for the money. It works great even on over-sized offroad tires and will fill up my 33" from 10 to 33 PSI in just a few minutes.
Just remember that it gets hot so give it time to cool off before you put it away.
The bag it comes with is really cheap and will break soon - plan accordingly

Got this for $42 and change after using the 30% off coupon. Its a solid compressor, which I will be using when I air down at the beach with my truck.
Pro: Good value with a solid warranty
Con: The compressor gets mighty hot after filling for tires so be careful and allow it cool down

Rated 4 out of 5 by Yunque15 Good for Off-Roading
Great for the price. It's not as good as on board air or a CO2 tank, but those are way out of my price range. I've aired up 32" tires from 20psi to 42psi in less than 2mins per tire. I have also aired up 8 tires in a row and the compressor didn't slow down. The bag does not seem very durable but it should last with care and I really like it. It has room for my air down tool, extra valve covers and cores, and a real pressure gauge. My big complaint is the built in pressure gauge, it is not accurate. It even has a sticker on it that says it's inaccurate! At least it gives some idea of the pressure so I can over-inflate a bit and then air down to the proper psi.
I can't comment on durability since I've only used it 4 times. An accurate gauge and better quality bag would give it 5 stars all around.
note: Having the engine running while using the compressor greatly increases the speed of the compressor motor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by danilko Wasn't paying attention, almost over-inflated my tire.
Situation: Several of my tires had a slow leak. I tried to get them serviced, and no one would do it. Too old, they said. I have been playing musical gas station, filling tires, getting tired. I ran over something again, but this time a tire started playing, "Gone With The Wind." I should get new tires. I decided on two things. Patching and Filling. I started shopping around, reading reviews. I almost settled on a VIAIR P77. I knew it's output was too low for my tires, but it was better than what I had. Then I found the MF-1050 at the same price. I saw that Jeepers loved the MF-1050, as well as it's twin. It's not perfect, but it's a keeper, I kept reading. It's comparable to the VIAIR 400, but one fifth the price. DONE
The Good: It is reasonably fast enough. I suspect it is as fast as the air compressor at Arco, down the street, but five times faster than at Chevron. I won't be going out for air, from now on. A nice thing, this compressor has what looks like a standard 1/4" NPT, quick connect. It looks identical to my air tools. I mention this, because it is contrary to what is written in forums. In 2005 or so it was different or custom, and Jeepers were taping and replacing the connector, for off roading. I am so pleased. I won't need to do this.
The Bad: The tire pressure gage has some lines and numbers, but doesn't mean all that much. What I can depend on, my tire pressure is low, medium, high. It might be 40 PSI or it might 50. It's untrustworthy, or needs to be calibrated. With that said, I tried three cheap pop out gages, and all three were different. The highest was 50 PSI. I need to find a solution for that. Also there's no real way to test the pressure, while inflating. The air intake, the filter. It's ugly, and annoying. I don't see any other model with this design. It has to be installed and removed when packing and unpacking. The filter is needed though.
Conclusion: I believe the MF-1050 is a pro tool with a consumer price. It has minor problems, that we can do nothing about. The compressor is not user serviceable, however that is only during the warranty period. From forums, there's a lot you can do to maintain it, under the hood, so to speak. I won't advocate this. But I find this reassuring. For any complaints I have read, there are solutions. It would be nice if the gauge on the body were better. I won't hold it against it though. It would be nice if there was a low profile filter that can remain on, at all times. - BUY

Rated 4 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Pretty Good Pump
The pump itself is pretty good for the money. It is really fast inflating. The inflation hose might stretch to 16 feet but you are really going to have to work at it. The part of the hose that connects to the tire is weird and looks like it could be problematic in the future. The case is cheap and will likely not last long. Overall it is worth the money. I own a similar model from another manufacturer that had a non-standard fuse which could only be obtained from the manufacturer. This pump uses a standard automotive style fuse. The air gauge is not accurate on mine.

I use this when airing up my 35x12.5 tires after offroading. The pump works great and brings the tires back up from 15 to 30 PSI in about 90 seconds per tire. It does not run hot, even after airing multiple Jeeps with large tires back up. For the money, it can't be beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by iwashmycar Excellent Inexpensive Compressor
This thing is great for the price. Got it for just over 45 dollars from an online sale. Went and picked it up in store. I go offroading up to a couple times per month up in the mountains or over at the beach. I typically air down my 32" tires to 15psi. This compressor fills them back to ~35psi in around 3-4 minutes each. Really not bad compared to other little compressors I have used. I like the screw-on valve attachment, but it was too large to fit a buddys wheels that had the valve in the middle of the rim between 'spokes'. The carrying case seems a little frail, but it is nice to have. The gauge is also off by about 5psi at 35psi and doesnt seem to really move until around 20psi+. It does note these tolerances right on the gauge however. No biggie, that is what a tire gauge is for. I would highly recommend picking one of these up!

This is my second pump. the first one is still working but it's now 10 years old and I have used this pump quite often at least every two weeks adding air to tires even extented run times using it as a blower to clean dust off or blowing dust as it generated by other tools like sanders. I mounted this pump under my hood for easy access and use. I'm giving my old one to a relative.
Much cheaper than other good pump options.
The top unscrews, I've gotten inside of it a few times to lubricate working parts. Fully rebuildable.

I bought this for a different reason than its normal application. Im using to charge a 5 gallon 125psi air tank to supply a set of train horns on my pickup. This compressor will charge my tank to 125psi in under 10 minutes with no struggle at all. The compressor is rated to 140psi itself for those of you wondering. I would say I am happy with the product its strong and inexpensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Murpman Masterflow Tsunami - MF-1050 works great ! as described
The Masterflow Tsunami - MF-1050 works great for my needs for a high presure AND high volume compressor. I have a 3/4 4WD truck with high GVW capacity tires where 65-75 psi is required. Unfortunately, I also need to run on the sand to get to the beach and I MUST lower the pressure in each tire to about 45 psi just to cross the sand and not get stuck in ruts. So I needed to have a portable high presure AND high volume compressor to get my tires back up to normal pressure (as close as possible) to get back on the streets. The Masterflow has the features I wanted; seperate battery clamp connections with long cable instead of cigar lighter; a quick-connect air hose connection with ability to use my own hose (longer); and a built-in gauge to allow me to maintain use with constant "air-up" connection while also monitoring tire pressure to prevent over-fill (note: it's just a basic gauge). I still use a good hand held air gauge to verify pressure though. The only concern I have is the longevity of the plastic screw-on air filter. It's ALL plastic with plastic screw thread fittings to the compressor and looks like it could easily beak if the user doesn't use caution with compressor operation and the re-packing of the compressor into it's very convenient storage bag. It would be a shame and a huge problem to have it break when you really needed it.
Pep Boys was the only store within 50 miles of home with the product in stock on the shelf....and it was the best price I found. I even got a discount for my on-line order. I ordered with in-store pickup and did travel some distance out of my way to pick it up but... not a problem. The Pep Boys on-line ordering process was very "professional" and comforting as it provided all the necessay e-mail confirmations and notifications with order details and costs. It was an easy, uncomplicated process and I've enjoyed using the compressor so far.
