I recently found myself with a flat tire at work following some winter weather. I didn't want to crawl under my truck to retrieve the spare. A co-worker offered use of his MasterFlow unit. It inflated my large SUV tire within a no time and I was on the road to the tire repair shop. One of the best features is that you don't need to hold the hose on the stem to inflate your tire. There is a handy screw on feature which allows you to stand back and watch it work. I was so impressed with it I went later that evening and purchased four of them. I kept two and plan to give the others for Christmas gifts. Its fast small and takes up very little room under the seat of my vehicle. I recommend every one pick one of these handy units. They are worth every penny.

I bought this to replace a previous version that had the power adapter fall apart. I blew the fuses in three cars before I read the amp ratings from the manual. The box still lists this device as 15amp, but the manual says 20 amp and the fuses it kept blowing were 20 amp. Returned to store and I'm afraid to buy any more Masterflow inflators.

So far has been great for occasional tire inflation. Seems well made and feels solid. Kind of cool to have a standard quick-connect on the pump, now looking for a compact hose with a standard chuck to use instead of the screw-on connection.

This pump works great for about 6 months to a year then it freezes up. I have had 3 of them and 2 were defective. I emailed the company for warranty, but received no answer. Too bad, because it worked great...up until it stopped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mercible Great addition to my emergency road gear
I mainly bought this item because I don't have the budget or room for a regular compressor. I wanted something I could keep in my vehicle for emergency use and to also air up small items like bicycle tires and such. Glad i had it earlier this week. Went to drive away and saw one of my tires on my SUV was almost flat. Plugged in and attached to the valve stem and in less than 5 minutes I was back in service and driving down the road. The included carrying back is a nice touch. Seems solid and works as advertised.

Rated 5 out of 5by Hindsite This is an EXCELLENT tire pump!
The first thing I did with it was test it on a totally deflated 245/65/17 sized truck tire. My last tire inflator (different type and model), cost me $55 and could pump this tire up to 35 psi in 14 minutes. This unit pumped it up in 4 1/2 minutes (0-35)!!!! That is with hooking the valve up and turning it on to having it unhooked.
I expected this thing to get really hot due to that it's new and needs to seat in. It was warm at the end but nothing more. After 3 years of use, my old one was still to hot to handle almost from the heat on the hose.
It's a little clunky but it is a serious little portable compressor with a sizable electric motor on it.
If you want to be finicky about it and repack it into the bag it comes with, it may take you a few more minutes however, if you just unhook the air hose (Standard pneumatic air connector, NICE!) and put a velcro cable strap on the power cord to hold it, Toss it in the trunk as is. This bad boy isn't a ton of plastic, nor does it have some stupid light on the front or sides to fail.
My opinion, If you need a flashlight in your car for emergencies, then go buy a flashlight and stick it in the trunk. Don't open the batteries to it until you need it. IF you want a DARN NICE tire inflater that wont burn up when you need it most..... Here ya go!!! This bad boy is it!
Forget spending $1.00 or more at the gas station for the use of their outside courtesy unit! I can do mine as I'm putting gas in the car for free.
