Royal Purple 20W-50 Synthetic Motor Oil, Qt. is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from PT 280,000 miles and still going! I have been running Royal Purple for a long time now. I love the product. I started years ago when my PT Cruiser had about 100,000 miles. I stopped getting the knock that was in my engine and it ran smother. Eventually the knocking came back and I was recommend by a mechanic to use a heavier weight oil again and so I am now using the 20w50. Most other people with PT Cruisers have major engine overhauls between 100,000 miles to 150,000 miles. I have replaced the radiator (very small leak early) and the computer at about 120,000 but original motor with only regular maintenance, original transmission with only regular maintenance, and original clutch! Yes Chrysler did make a 5 speed manual version of the PT Cruiser. I use Royal Purple in my Wife's Honda Accord Crosstour as well since the first oil change I did and it is running smother and quieter than when it was new! The PT is now a backup and fun times car. I now drive a Subaru Forester as my daily driver. I had a small oil leak in it that was quickly fixed under warranty but needed to add oil. Luckily the Subaru uses the same 0w20 as the honda so I just used a little of the oil I had for the honda to top off the Subaru. I could feel the engine ran smother immediately! When I do the next oil change on the Subaru I will also be using Royal Purple since my free 2 year maintenance is now over. I trust Royal Purple in all of my vehicles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Royal Purple 20/50 I've been running this in my Suzuki Sidekick for about a month now. Engine was burning about 4 oz. of oil per week with 10/30 standard oil. With this 20/50 Royal Purple, it hasn't burned anything noticeable on the dip stick and it is running quieter than ever before (these motors are noisy typically). It's got 128K miles on it and has always ran well but it's much quieter now and burns no oil so I attribute that to this Royal Purple. I recently (yesterday) just changed over to Royal Purple in my 2005 Toyota 4runner with the 4.7 V8 because I was so impressed with it in my Zuki. It's a bit expensive but not when you compare it to wear and tare on a motor (it's worth it). A good analogy would be if you bought a pair of running shoes at payless for $20 instead of buying a name brand at foot locker. The foot locker brand will be construced better and you get what you pay for. Some will say synthetic oils are not worth it but talk to them in 100,000 miles and see if they still feel that way? For the difference in money, I'll go with synthetic and Royal Purple is my brand from now on....Also, check out their ball bearing test on their web-site. If you're not impressed with that then just go pick up your oil at the 7-11 and call it good.
