ProStart Ignition Wire Set is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good wires Wires are cut to the proper length. Good set of stock wires

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to install. Wires seem flimsy compared to OEM. Too expensive. These wires installed easily thanks to the swivel design of the wire to cap plug. Included dielectric compound. Unfortunately they seemed very flimsy compared to the OEM. I later found out I could have purchased comparable wires elsewhere on line for much less.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plug wires Wanted Bosch or another brand name, not not happy with most Pepboys brand. Did not feel like wasting my and gas to go elsewhere.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Had problem first time I pulled a wire Had them in the car less than a month. I pulled #1 so I could pull and check the plug. The plug end of the wire separated and left a rubber ring on top of the plug. Problem is this is a Hemi head and the rubber ring is preventing the plug wrench from attaching to the plug. I figure I'm going to have to take a scribe and go fishing in the plug hole to dig out the rubber ring. Going to have to check into the warranty

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fit for my 1992 Chevy van 5.7L I liked the way they snapped on to the plugs and cap. Felt confident of a secure connection

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overall product Bought these to go into my 1991 Caprice. Simple to install. All the wire lengths were correct. Would purchase again in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Received a bad set 40,000 miles ago I was getting misfires so I replaced the factory installed wires with one of these sets. That fixed the problem. A couple of weeks ago I started getting misfires on cylinder 4. It was time to replace the spark plugs so I did that plus installed a new set of these Prostart wires. The misfire problem only got worse, now involving cylinders 2 & 4. So I replaced my ignition coil (a single unit in my car) but 2 & 4 were still misfiring. Only after removing the new Prostart wires and installing an NGK set did the problem get corrected. Now my car runs smoothly (2008 Subaru Outback 2.5i).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wire Lengths & Boot Not Perfect Fit I bought these wires for a 2001 Honda Accord 4cyl. The wires work okay, but the lengths don't quite match the OEM and are inconsistent, giving them a sloppy look and making it difficult to route them in the same way as the originals. The boots at the plug end don't fit in/over the top of the spark plug well very well, and they tended to "pop out" because of that. After awhile they seemed to stay in place. The wires at the distributor end are straight even though the boots are 90 degree angle. This makes it difficult to get them in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit Perfect fit and my Miata is running smoothly once again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good buy for the price All wires fit like factory install, proper lengths

Rated 2 out of 5 by from the product is flawed this is the second set in a year. the only reason that i used them again is because they were a free replacement for the bad set that i originally bought. the connectors on the end broke off at the spark plug causing a very simple job to become very difficult. the lube that comes with the set was used but the crimping was very poor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from decent set of wires for $30 These wires fit good on the spark plugs and the distributor cap, no misfires from the engine so far. They look like your average set of $30 dollar wires. If you want real good quality wires then buy OEM from dealer. I don't want to spend $100 so I'll take a chance on these. I'm only expecting to get 30,000 miles of service out of these. These have lifetime warranty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality Ignition system improved significantly with installation. Caution with ordering online: you will have to wait for main warehouse to ship to your store regardless if in stock at your store. An inventory guru for "Pep Boys" needs to examine what's best for customer service efficiencies when online purchases are maded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for my buick... good price...made well....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wire Set? How can this be called an Ignition Wire "Set" with only 2 wires? That's a bit misleading. The connotation of the word "Set" implies a normal standard count, normally 4 to 6. There aren't many cars running out there on 2 cylinders. Perhaps the name should be, "A couple of spare ignition wires".
