Rated 5 out of 5 by emmas not much to it
It's just a radiator cap. I don't understand why this item is not included with radiator. It works fine so far. I got 30% so it was definitely best deal I could find.

Rated 4 out of 5 by WeekendWrencherMaryland I guess it is OK
I checked for headgasket / cracked head problems and have no exhaust gases in the radiator. That's the good news. The bad news is that I still needed to hunt down a very slow leak that wasn't dripping anywhere. So, being the lazy parts-changer that I am, I got a new radiator cap and hoped for the best. The result: No dice. I need to put pressure on the system, maybe add some fluorescent dye, and hope I can find where it is leaking.
As far as the radiator cap is concerned, I suppose it is OK. It fit as it should have and it seems to have sealed well too. The coolant loss did not accelerate with this cap on the radiator. I know that's not the most scientific way of testing it's ability to function and seal, but that's all I've got. I would purchase this again. Is it an OEM cap? No, but who expects OEM from Pep Boys? it seemed to work OK for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by smogguy Stant products
As a 30 year master auto tech myself, I have supported the Stant product line, and what better support is there than to use their parts on my cars. I've never had to warranty a Stant part, and that says volumes!

Rated 2 out of 5 by LiquidAwesome Stant Radiator Cap
Disposable. Will need to replace in 3 years. Generally poor quality and hit or miss fit. Get it if you need to, but check fit on radiator BEFORE leaving store & starting work. And save your receipt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Joe123 Works with Spectra Premium Radiator for 2003 Honda Civic
Steel radiator cap that should've been included in the radiator package, but manufacturers don't for some reason. Always replace cap when replacing rad. Duh. Also, have the store attendant verify both items fit together BEFORE leaving the store. Mine was a VERY tight fit. I thought it was going to break the plastic rim on the Spectra Premium radiator. Fortunately it didn't and both parts are working well together in the 2003 Honda Civic LX.
