Rated 1 out of 5 by TonyZ The included valve leaks
When I saw that I could bet 35 oz of DuPont refrigerant for $20, I was really pleased, but that pleasure quickly evaporated (no pun intended) when I put the included el-cheapo can tap on the can. First, it is not one piece. The horizontal part (where the yellow hose attaches) is screwed on to the vertical part, and there is no seal. So it leaked profusely at this connection. Second, even with the valve installed and closed, the tap leaked. The leak was large enough to lose half of the R134a overnight! I'm sure the can of refrigerant is fine, it's just the valve that sucks. My recommendation would be to throw away the included can tap and use a quality one. Then you should be fine.

Great product that is much more economical than using the 12oz cans. It is a shame that it is not normally in stock and needs to be ordered for in store pickup.
Straight R-134a, no sealers or conditioners to possibly mess up your system.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!
This is a complete waste of time and money. The cheap gauge on the can caused me to severely overfill my A/C system. It was so bad the compressor would lock up when engaged. The gauge said it was not filled so I added more. Lucky I had a friend who had access to a professional A/C machine and he fixed it for me.

I was treated well when I bought this. Some very courteous employees had the product ready and waiting for me pick it up in store, after I ordered online.
I like this larger size. I don't have to change cans in the middle of charging our Sable (needs 34 oz of 134a).

I was excited to use this product. I was large enough to fill my daughters car with one can. After evacuating the system I shot in an oil charge then connected this can. First gas leaked out of the valve they supplied. Then I found it would not pass through my gauge set because it was not designed to push the valve. I borrowed my neighbors 30 lb cylinder and serviced the system.

This is just a tank of r134. You need an adapter to refill your car. Yes it comes with a valve, but no hose to attach to your car.

Don't let other reviews fool you. This product works great. It's made for the auomotive professional, not a DIY mechanic. So don't expect a cheap low side pressure gauge with this product, you need a manifold gauge to use it. Also, the reason it has a depress valve instead of a can piercing tap is because its meant to be reusable later. You can store this product for later use, other cans need to be used all at once. No dyes or sealers. Just 35oz of refrigerant. A LOT more for the same price vs other cans.
Unless you drive a large truck or have dual a/c in a van or suv, it will fill your system charge.

I had to replace my AC compressor & dryer & suction line. After vacuumed I had to fill in oil & dye, then another small stop leak with Freon bottle. At last I followed instruction to turn the knob all the way down to punch DuPont Suva 35.3 oz.can to get the rest of Freon for the car. I wondered why I could not get more Freon. I thought I have filled to much of oil. Started over again and again but finally found out the puncher could not punch a hole. Open it out and check the tip and realized it not a point top tip as it should. That's a stupid mistake of this product !
