Rated 4 out of 5 by vinrym Good product....too bad it didn't fit
I bought this for our 2013 Soul, but because of the width and indentations in the roof as well as the changing height of the door frames on the sides it just didn't quite work.

This product it was very cheap and that the main reason I bough it. My husband carry lot's of stuff in his car roof and with this it helped the car to not get scarched so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Abba This product was exactly what we needed
This product is so great we bought two. We need to transport a kayak and a standup paddleboard. We have two small cars. Just make sure you tighten the straps and you're all set to go.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rackless universal=not likely to fit well on any one car
Once again, I succumbed to the siren call of "universal" fit AND low price.
And, again, I learned that one gets what one pays for. While the pricing was very attractive, the ability of this rack system to adequately and securely attach to modern cars was seriously lacking.
I installed this on an '08 Nissan Versa....which, it turns out, has a sloping drip seam above the door. I had to bend the side clamps on the rack system to even get it to come close to fitting into the drip seam AND I applied double-stick foam tape to try to give it more grip. There is little in the way of applying a side-to-side 'snugging' force #besides the attachment to the lateral bars#. As a result, on first usage with carrying a plastic beginner kayak strapped on the roof rack, the entire kayak+bars+rack+clamps flew off and landed in the roadway.
Bottom line: I would suggest that potential buyers either step up for a vehicle-specific rack system that has been engineered for their particular vehicle OR #if you still need to pinch pennies# pay long and hard attention to both your vehicles roofline + drip seam, as well as the clamping brackets in this package to even begin to assess how well this rack may or may not hold tight on your car. And don't go very fast with a load, either.
Remember: You get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rafael1965 Bad Product
Does not serve the purpose for it was purchased. It won't even stay in its place once it's installed. It either becomes loose or the hook pops out of the side of the door. No matter how many adjustments you make to the tension of the belts, it just won't work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ATTDNT cheaply built
poorly design and made. The rubber pads are too loose, do not stay on and easily lost.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ForthrightMatt Unable to secure the bar safely
Despite several attempts, I have been unable to secure the bars to the car safely. After working for an hour to seat the bars so that they would not shift once attached to my car, I gave up and had to cancel the part of the trip with my daughter that was supposed to include our kayak. Unless you can clearly see, on your car, where you will seat the bar support--I cannot recommend this kit. If, on the other hand, you have examined your car PRIOR to buying this kit AND you know EXACTLY where the crossbar supports can be seated securely on the door frames, then this kit could kit could work for you. The key is to examine YOUR door frames to find a secure placement for the device.
