The wrench seems to work but right out of the box the measurement markings are not lined up to represent zero. If it's off by 10 ft lbs at zero what is is actually off at 125 ft lbs etc.

I have used many different torque wrenches. This was a very poor manufactured torque wrench. The actual torque mechanism inside the wrench may have been installed backwards. I set the ft. lbs per square inch to 77 to torque lug nuts on my vehicle and ended up snapping one of the studs because the wrnch never stopped or clicked after 77 ft. lbs per square inch. I ended up returning the wrench for a refund.

Pulled it out of the package, set the torque setting required for installing my spark plugs and started tightening. The torque wrench never clicked at all. As a result, I ended up over torquing my plugs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sirblade Excellent to work with when you need proper torque
I brought this tool since I was going to change my valve cover gasket on a 2003 Isuzu Ascender, since it involved taking out my intake manifold as well. I went ahead and bought the intake manifold gasket as well because I had a slight order of gasoline and the engine slight stalled a bit. Since the mechanic was going to charge over $350.00 dollars just for the labor I went ahead and bought both gasket (valve cover & intake manifold gasket) and did the job myself. I was able to get the job done and give it the correct torque on the valve cover and intake manifold. I did job approximately over 45 days ago and no leaks so far, plus the gasoline order went away in addition the stalling of the engine is completely gone. I saved over $450.00 dollars and only spend under $60.00 dollars between the tool, and both gasket set. The saving was well worth it. If you have basic knowledge doing light mechanic you shouldn't have any problems. Hope this helps.

Set at lowest setting and no sound of click. Better off with old style wrench.

The dual drive 3/8 & 1/2 torque wrench is a very versatile tool. It performed excellent in removing difficult socket parts. The tool is maintained in a very nice protective case.
