Rated 4 out of 5 by product works as described. Remote start works great, but not a do it yourself install.Took four hours for a professional installer to complete and set it up,plus I had to purchase another module to install in my truck.Product price was reasonable, but the install and module cost was high. Rated 5 out of 5 by Needs coding for systems that use keys with chips in them to start Maybe my fault for not researching enough, but this starter requires the starter fob to be encoded with the correct data to match your car key, if you have car keys that contain a chip to prevent starting without that key. That can only be done by a qualified repair shop. Otherwise it seems like a good device for older-style standard key ignition systems. But it's still a little bit of a challenge to install yourself unless you are really familiar with car wiring. This is not a knock on the device itself, but the key thing is a disqualifier for me. I won't say don't buy it, but just know what you are getting and I wish that info had been a little more prominent. March 8, 2014
