Ya gotta be careful; there are two types of air-hose fittings available - a push/clip on (like is present on these Monroes) and a threaded version (like is present on most other brands). Take a few minutes and save yourself incredible frustration by finding out first which you need. If you need the push/clip version, you cannot beat these Monroes! They give an awesome ride, just like when the car was new. High quality and excellent price, and sold by PepBoys? You can't GET any better than that!

I didn't realize I had so many miles on my old shocks but had a serious problem when hitting bumps or holes the rear end of the car would just go left and right wildly. I figured I would just change the struts also and what a difference, the rear of the car doesn't shake anymore on bumps or holes and a great ride too. Allen

These shocks saved me! I bought some oversized wheels and every time I hit a big bump, the wheel hit the fender. I spent $500 to add leafs to my springs and it still didn't solve the problem. I put these shocks on and with a puff of air, I raised the car up and solved the problem! Great solution!

Rated 5 out of 5 by wdiaz direct fit for a 1998 toyota tacoma regular cab.
Bought this as an experiment since the specs on these shocks are nearly identical to the shocks recommended by the Monroe site for the 98 tacoma base model regular cab. These fit right in without mods. Routed air lines to fuel cap area.
Worked great, keeping in mind this truck is lighter and has less capacity than the old trucks these shocks were designed for. So this means easy on the loads and the air charge.
Word of caution. The packaging on these shock is bad, the installation plastic kit is left unprotected against two large heavy shocjs, when mine arrived at the store a plastic nut was crushed during shipping. Store swapped kit with one they had in stock. Ensure you open and inspect before leaving the store

Rated 5 out of 5 by Montana Great direct replacement
One of the bushing inserts at the top mount was a little off center and made it hard to install. Had do do extra work to get it in. But once in the shocks were great and work well.

Great Shocks for the 1968 Dart. Easy instructions. Takes about 1-2 hours depending on how rusty the bolts are on your old car. This includes setting the aire lines up to go either through the trunk or drilling a 3/8 inch hole on the bumper for the pumping up with the aire hose. Comes with zip lines to get out of way of exhaust, etc.
You get 50% labor discount from Pepboys. So your cost about $80 labor. Should have had them do it for convenience. It took me 2 hours...
As a note, my previous Monroe Matics lasted 30 years.
