Rated 5 out of 5 by A lot of bang for the buck! I really like this radio! It's a great value! At first, I wasn't particularly interested because it does not have a CD player and most of my music is in MP3 format on CDs. Well, really, a CD player is a mechanical failure waiting to happen, changing CDs while moving is an accident waiting to happen, and having one roughly doubles the price of the unit. It does, of course decode the MP3 format and WMA, also (Microsoft just had to have its own proprietary WMA format, which I have no use for). Although this unit does not support CDs, it accepts a 32GB SDHC card that will hold the contents of more than forty CDs, and it also supports flash drives. I'll just use my computer to dump music from CDs on to an SDHC card and/or flash drives. Well, is it make concert hall quality sound? I really don't know and, really, that's pretty much irrelevant for me. I got mine and put it in a hotrod 1967 Mustang. A hotrod '67 Mustang is certainly no concert hall! I was looking for an inexpensive, dependable provider of music for the road, and since that 32GB SDHC card (supported, but not included) will load in some 440 hours of my favorite road tunes, I can drive a long way without reloading. I like this box so much, I bought one for my 67 Mustang, one for a buddy's 67 Mustang, and one for my grand nephew's 1970 Mustang. Now, there are some folks who won't like it because it doesn't cost enough, but if you understand value, this might just be your radio (particularly for a hotrod). I haven't had this unit very long, so I don't have enough experience with it to say that it will last ten years, or something. I can say that it works, and that it installed with only minor modifications, even into a 1967 Mustang. It is almost the same size as the radios of that era, and I think it just drops in, without modification, in today's cars. (By the way, although the Dual trademark is that of a defunct German company that was one of the two best turntable makers of the late '60s and early '70s. As often happens, the Korean company that makes this radio bought the trademark. I'll just choose to consider it their tribute to the original Dual, because I like this radio.) July 13, 2015
