Rated 4 out of 5 by JA1724 Worked Fine
I actually used this to paint the internals of a dehumidifier that I use in a wood drying kiln. The tannic acid released by oak wreaks havoc on untreated metal. So far I have seen no corrosion on any of the internals after painting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Good product, flat finish
Great coverage and easy to use, but the finish is more flat than satin. I wish I had ordered the glossy.

Replaced engine recently cleaned and pressure tested radiator as a precaution. Applied product with amazing results, one can was more than enough product for my application.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Good product - lousy directions
My main complaint about the product is the sketchy. directions. "Two light applications, with drying time in between..." OK, so what is "drying time"? Five minutes? Two weeks? Something in-between? I guessed (wrong, apparently) at something like an hour. It actually took 3 coats to completely cover and the resulting surface is a wrinkle-finish like some people like on their valve covers, etc. Not bad, but not what I wanted or expected. I don't know why Eastwood can't post a PDF file with COMPLETE directions for each product on their web server.
If I had another radiator to do, I would use this product on the core area only, and use engine paint on the tanks, frame, etc.

I painted my reconditioned radiator I am using on my 51 Crosley Panel and it looks great, just as I wanted. Very nice and easy to apply using a spray can trigger.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DJB Worst spray ever!!!
The thing clogged up like no tomorrow even if you followed their instruction at the back. It seems like it is out of compressed air and it just sputtered the whole time.
Now my radiator is unfinished, i wonder where can i get another satin black paint to match this.
I really think i should get a refund or a replacement. Even that, it will waste me so much time to finish the car. If i put my radiator and everything and the bumper back, then once the paint arrives (which is time again), i will have to take everything out and finish the radiator.
Think twice getting this Radiator Black Satin Finish. This is really my worst experience so far. Very frustrating for sure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Radiator is still black
I purchased some 'Radiator Black' a couple of weeks ago and Eastwood has requested i give a review. It went on easy. It's not tacky like what you get from a radiator shop. It covers well. Although it's only been a couple of weeks, it's still black.

I purchased some of this 'Radiator Black' about two weeks ago for a new aluminum radiator and Eastwood has asked me to write a review. I can truthfully say it hasn't come off yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer great product for specific application
This paint is the best I have used for refinishing radiators during restorations and project vehicles. The thin consistency doesn't clog up the fins, yet it covers well and the sheen mimics original radiator color and texture very well. A must have for the detail oriented person.
