Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Paints Aren't Equal One might be tempted to think what the heck and just grab some hardware store paint. However this chassis paint proves not all paints are not created equal. It covered great, the spray pattern is perfect. The finish is outstanding, just what I was hoping for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great This product has worked very well for the things I have used it for in the past. I made custom pieces for my motorcycle to rework the rear end and get larger saddlebags attached. Sprayed all the parts with Chassis Black and it held up very well for several years with all the stuff that the wheel through at it. Was still in good shape when I sold the bike. I don't rebuild cars but I use this product whenever I want a good strong, lasting finish on something. As an example, I used it on the frame of my trailer when I rebuilt it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great paint product. Not cheap rattle can stuff. My first time using this chassis black, I had not read the instructions and had painted self etching primer over one of my a-arms. So I went ahead and put another black paint on that a-arm and chassis black on bare steel on the other. I had several paint and primer chips during installation on the self etching side. Not a scratch on the Eastwood side. Good stuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like the color Need to shake can for quite a while or it will fisheye, sanded , cleaned , painted, sanded , cleaned. Realized I wasn't shaking can long enough. Nozzle clogs can't use the whole can. At $14.00 a can I wold like to be able to use all of it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it. It's a little slow to cure in South Mississippi humidy, all paint is, but once it does cure it's there for the duration. I've paint my frame, roll bars, and other random parts with it and not a single complaint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy to have. After using the quart size to spray a frame I find this aerosol perfect for touch ups. No excessive prep time and sprays evenly. A couple of light coats is best for the small areas. And if you do any welding, this is a good quick coat to cover bare metal until it's time to finish coat a frame. I always keep some handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chassis Black Worked well and went further than expected for a 1956 truck frame. Spayed over rust converter and used two cans. Nice even color and pattern, spray can upside down for a few seconds to clear the nozzle so it doesn't clog if you are going to use it later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Covers great, lasts long! Have bought a couple of these chassis blacks and am overall pleased with the results. The only thing I have issues with on occasion is the nozzles will plug up even after you clear them out. Best solution would be to use the whole can at once if possible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice frame paint I had a few sections of frame that needed a touch up. I tried using another brand of chassis paint from an auto parts store and was not happy with the results. So I ordered Eastwood's Chassis Black. I sanded the previous work down to mostly metal, used Eastwood's Pre, added a coat of sandable primer and shot two coats of the Chassis Black. I was happy with the results. The material out of the can is pretty even, the color is good, and application out of a can is easy. I look forward to using it on misc. parts during the restoration.
