Pep Boys is proud to have partnered with the Hershey Antique Auto Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania to donate a Model T car. Pep Boys purchased the Model T to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2021. After the anniversary tour, the company sought a permanent home for the car, ultimately choosing the Hershey Antique Auto Museum.
The Model T, which features statues of the company’s founders—Manny, Moe, and Jack—can now be viewed by museum visitors through April 2025. The donation was celebrated at a special gala, where Pep Boys team members shared the significance of the car, both as a symbol of the company’s legacy and its commitment to preserving automotive history. Following its time on display, the museum is hoping to restore the car to a drivable condition, so it can become part of the museum’s Model T driving experience. This experience offers visitors the chance to engage with a piece of history in a hands-on way.
