Honoring Our Active Military Members and Veteran Employees with Challenge Coins for Veterans Day

This Veterans Day, Pep Boys takes great pride in recognizing its deep-rooted connection to military veterans—from our founding by three Navy veterans to our ongoing commitment to those who serve today.

Pep Boys was established in 1921 by three veterans—Manny, Moe, and Jack—and their dedication to service and community laid the foundation for a company that continues to honor the legacy of military service, both through our business practices and our employee support. Today, we remain committed to those who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces.

As part of our ongoing efforts, Pep Boys supports veterans through various initiatives, including discounts for military customers, collaborations with military and veteran organizations, and more. Our workforce includes hundreds of active-duty service members and veterans, and every year, we take special care to recognize their invaluable contributions.

In honor of Veterans Day, we present a unique Pep Boys Military Challenge Coin to each of our military members and veterans. These coins serve as a small but meaningful token of gratitude for the sacrifices made by our team members who have served or are currently serving our country. Each coin is distinct, designed to reflect the current year, and is accompanied by a heartfelt letter from Pep Boys senior leadership, expressing our deep appreciation.
