The Odyssey is a 5-door minivan by the Honda Corporation that was first introduced in 1994. The current American version of the Honda Odyssey is considered to be in the 'large MPV-class' which is larger than other Odysseys that are created for other foreign markets. Available in automatic transmissions only, the Odyssey has been praised for its roomy interior and space holding capabilities. A variety of trim levels were also available throughout the years including LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and Touring Elite. In 2013 the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety found that the lowest overall driver death rate in its class was the Honda Odyssey, with 0 deaths per million registered users.
