Dan enjoyed bicycles when he was young. He was enthusiastic about cars as well. Before long, Dan wanted to be a mechanic, but not just any mechanic, he wanted to be agreat mechanic. As it turned out, Pep Boys was the perfect place to do so.
Dan credits the extensive and forward-thinking training he receives every year for making him the expert he is today, as well as the Team Members who help him grow.
David Argueta

David signed up for electronics class in high school and a mistake put him in an automotive class. Understanding that cars had a lot of technological components, and with encouragement from his teacher, David turned a scheduling mishap into a life-long career.
For David, “Going Further” means doing the best job that he can, along with a strong passion for your work. It means never settling for less, and showing up every day ready to work.

Harry had a love for automotive since he was young, especially remembering his first car: a 78 Ford Mustang that needed a ton of repairs. Instead of finding someone to do the work, Harry decided he could learn how to do it himself. The rest is history.
Mentorship is one of the rewarding parts of his job by helping drive less-experienced technicians to succeed and become Master Technicians. Being a mentor is something he takes pride in and notes how important it is to have people who push you to “be better.”

Jeff’s father, a Jet Engine Mechanic in the Air Force, taught him his way around a car. Their shared love for racing along with a passion for automotive care, kick-started his journey into the industry.
Jeff, who has been at his store for over 30 years, was one of the first hires to the location. He helped to build the local customer base with expert car service and has continued with Pep Boys because he believes in putting the customer first, which is what Pep Boys sets out to do.

Joel turned a summer job into a lifetime passion. Specializing in electromechanics, Joel loves to see a project from start to finish, with attention to the small details the whole way through.
One of the things he loves most about his job is the team that works alongside him. He loves the support given in completing tasks and overcoming any challenges. He hopes to provide guidance to those new technicians joining the team for years to come.
