Pep Boys to Sponsor Sterling Marlin''s Chevrolet in NASCAR All-Star Event and Coca-Cola 600

The Pep Boys - Manny, Moe & Jack (NYSE: "PBY"), the nation's leading automotive aftermarket retail and service chain, announced today that it will be the primary sponsor on Sterling Marlin's No. 14 Chevrolet at the upcoming NASCAR Nextel Cup races at Lowe's Motor Speedway near Charlotte, NC.
Pep Boys, an 86-year-old Philadelphia institution with 593 stores and more than 6,000 service bays in 36 states and Puerto Rico, will have its colors showcased on Marlin's Chevrolet in this weekend's All-Star event and the May 27 Coca-Cola 600 point race.

Marlin, a two-time Daytona 500 champion, is coming off his best season finish with a 13th-place showing in the Darlington Cup race last week.
