For headrest systems, carefully replace factory headrests with special-ordered video headrests.
For overhead systems, permanently cut and modify the roof of the vehicle to mount the video housing. Often requires disassembly and modification of factory overhead consoles.
Drill a hole for camera lens and carefully mount camera in rear bumper cover.
Install rear-view video monitor in place of existing rear-view mirror.
Connect monitor to rear-view camera located on rear license plate or bumper.
Carefully disassemble vehicle dashboard, A/C controls and center console to remove existing radio.
