Filters play a crucial role in the efficiency and performance of your vehicle. Even from normal use, a filter can become clogged and contaminated, causing poor performance. All filters need to be as clean and free of dirt particles and other contaminants that could end up in your fuel line or your engine.

These filters provide protection from dust and dirt, preventing damage to throttle bodies, valves, cylinders, rings, rockers and bearings. When it becomes clogged or dirty, your vehicle will run and idle rough and get poor gas mileage.

Without an oil filter, oil will become saturated with contaminants causing internal parts to wear prematurely. Oil filters help your car run better longer by maintaining a clean, well-performing engine. Changing the oil filter in your vehicle regularly is an essential part of engine maintenance.

A PCV valve ventilates the crankcase. When worn, it can cause rough engine idle, blown oil seals, excessive engine part wear and shorter oil life. A worn out PCV valve can also contribute to air pollution.
