Placing a Pick Up In Store Order:
Our Pick Up In Store ordering makes getting the items for your projects easy and convenient. Simply select your local store for product availability. Browse our assortment of products online. Then select the "Pick-up in Store" option for your items and click the “Add To Cart” button. Most products are available for same day pick up at most locations. All items display an expected availability date for your convenience. Once you have all your items in your online cart, you can choose a payment method of "Pay in Store" or "Pay Online" and proceed to checkout to enter your customer information. Choosing the "Pay in Store" option allows you to reserve items at your local store and pay for them at time of pick up with cash, a Pep Boys Gift Card or a credit card. Choosing a "Pay Online" option allows you to enter your credit card and billing information for a faster in-store pick up. Please note that by "Pay inStore" or "Pay Online" payment options cannot be combined in an order. Once your order has been submitted and accepted, you will receive a confirmation email. As soon as all the items in your order are ready, we will send you an email notifying you that your order is ready to be picked up.
Picking Up Your Online Order at the Store:
You will receive an email letting you know that your order has been processed and your items are ready for pick up at your selected store. When you arrive at the store, simply go to the checkout area and let the associate know that you received notification that your online order was ready for pick up. The associate will get your order or have your items brought to the front for verification. You will need to bring a valid id and your order confirmation email.
Pick-up in Store orders will be cancelled, and your ordered items returned to stock, if not picked up within the time period listed below depending on the payment option chosen during your online checkout:
- Online orders with a "Pay in Store" payment option - 24 hours after pick up email notification
- Online order with a "Pay Online" payment option - eight (8) days after pick up email notification
