My automotive experience began in high school. I took four years of auto shop and soon after graduating I enrolled into Universal Technical Institute. UTI was a great learning opportunity in the performance aspect of the industry. The reason why I decided to pursue employment in the automotive industry was because when I was sixteen my older brother sold me his 65' mustang. The mustang was my first project but unfortunately at the time I couldn't really do much to it due to my financial situation. It definitely gave birth to my love for engines. While going to UTI opportunities opened up for me to expand my experience and knowledge and start work in a Performance Shop. I continued to attend school but the Performance Shop broadened my expertise and taught me how to Tune and Dyno sports cars. Furthermore I built several engines i.e. SR20DET, EVO 9, 350 Small Block, 350 with Nitrous, 289, F20C,B16,B18,22RE,KA24DE. I would say my personal preference would be Imports but my passion is not confined to just that. My personal strengths would be that I am very open-minded and am willing to help on any and every project in any genre. I am humbled to be apart of the Pep Boys Speed Shop Team and look forward to growing the business.
