Who does not love cars?? The mechanics of how a car works and how a motor makes power is inspiring! At age 14, I purchased my first car from a local farmer, even though it did not need rebuilding, I took the motor out and rebuilt it myself. I then redid the interior of the car myself and from that point I knew what I was into. At age 16, I owned 5 cars at the same time. I have always been a tinkerer on anything automotive. I never had a brand following, I like them all. I am keen on one car, my 1967 Camaro RS/SS that my dad was the original owner. I purchased the car from my dad about 7 years ago but have had the car in my possession since roughly 1991. Since then I have been ever changing the car’s performance first rebuilding the original 350cid motor. I then put Supercharged BBC with TH400 and now a carbureted LS1 with T-56. I went to trade school for electronics and worked at an electronics cooperation full time which really helped with my knowledge of electrical automotive components and had a part time job at a speed shop after my full time job. Early 2001 the electronics cooperation moved to over seas and along with it my job but, the owner of the speed shop hired me on the spot full time. From there I grew my passion and knowledge. Unfortunately, the economy crash of 2008 caused the business to close in 2010. I thank Pep Boys for stepping up to the plate and bringing back the speed shop for local customers!
