Hello, My name is Patrick Wardein and I am the  Manager for the Phoenix AZ location of the Pep Boys Speed Shop. I have been involved in motorsports in one way or another since I was 14 when my father and I drug a 1970 mercury comet GT home. Since then I have owned several muscle cars, restored and Drag Raced them all. I am a Chrysler Certified Tech with over 20 years in the field of automotive repair, and while working for Chrysler I had the pleasure of operating in the dealership's race team that sponsored cars from a slant 6 duster to a top fuel funny car and everything in between. In the beginning of each year I would help support the race team at events from the world of wheels to the NHRA Nations where I would work the Mopar Performance Race Support truck, followed by several Nostalgia drags held throughout the remainder of year. I am currently working on a 1967 Plymouth GTX with a 496 CID Big Block for the drag strip. Being involved with High Performance cars and trucks is what I live for and it is a true gift to be able to do what you love and share the experiences of that "new" build with customers who I consider friends in the sport.
