My name is Randy Craven. I was born and raised in Okarche, Oklahoma. I have been working in the automotive industry on and off for about 10 years. I am most passionate about the performance side of the industry. My dad was always into race cars as far back as I can remember, so that instantly made me curious about race cars as well. From the age of 16 till now I have owned 3 Mustangs, 2 SS Camaros, and a WS6 Trans Am. All them were heavily modified and the fastest being the Trans Am running a 10.91s 1/4 mile. Through out the years I have helped many people build race cars anywhere from 1.6L 4cylinders to 500 cubic inch V8's and from 4 barrel carbs to stock EFI to aftermarket fuel injection. I consider myself pretty well rounded when it comes to customizing and building performance cars from any area, but if I had to pinpoint the area in which I excel the most it would be modern day muscle cars. I have had a lot of experience in modern day tuning of the fuel injected V8 engine. My current project is a '98 SN-95 Mustang GT. I do not have a current 1/4 mile track time for it due to traction issues, but it has a Vortech V-3 Supercharger, Ford Racing P.I. Heads & Intake, 60lb Ford Racing Fuel Injectors, Trickflow 70mm throttle body and plenum, BBK Longtube Headers, Custom built 3in true dual exhaust, I could keep going but I think you got the idea. I expect that my current build will be the fastest of all my projects now that I work for Pep Boys Speed Shop!!
