Hello Houston, my name is Colt Smith. I am your go to guy for performance, mechanics and vehicle projects in your area. Since I was old enough to hold a wrench, I have been working on cars. It is truly my hearts passion. In high school my uncle was my automotive instructor, therefore, I did have an advantage learning and advancing in the industry. I had a shop at my disposal at all hours, which had state of the art equipment ranging from a Gas/Diesel analyzer to a Chassis and Engine Dyno. I accumulated 11 ASE certifications while still in High School ranging from engine performance to basic automotive functions and diesel engine management. I have had quite a few projects myself over the years which include but are not limited to, an ‘81 Chevrolet C10 that started out with a Carbureted 350, when finished it had an LS2 engine out of a GTO, a ‘94 Sea Ray ski boat which has a carbureted 383 stroker, and a my daily driver which is a 2005 GMC Sierra that I put a 6.0 LS motor in and in the future I plan on running a twin turbo setup on it. My current toy is a 1964 1/2 Mustang Coupe that I just inherited. Currently I am in the process of putting a 5.0 Coyote motor in it and turning it into a restomod. I can talk for hours about vehicle performance and anything under the sun about cars. Come by Pep Boys Speed Shop and see what I can do to get you back on the road in your dream car.
