Pep Boys and Pennzoil are teaming up to give you a chance to Win a VIP Race Day Experience with Penske Racing's No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Team at Pocono


PHILADELPHIA (May 1, 2012) -- With more than 700 locations across the country,The Pep Boys - Manny, Moe & Jack (NYSE: PBY) today launched “The Best Seat in the House” sweepstakes on its Facebook Fan Page with the help of Penske Racing's No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Race Team.


Entrants have a chance to win a grand prize - valued at more than $3,900.00 - that offers VIP access to the Shell-Pennzoil Race Team at Pocono Raceway on August 5 or one of 22 Pep Boys gift cards worth $50.00 each. Pep Boys fans and racing enthusiasts can enter the sweepstakes by visiting Pep Boys' Facebook Fan Page between May 1 and May 29 and filling out a brief registration form on the contest tab of the page.


The randomly selected grand prize winner will receive two tickets for a VIP Race Day Experience with Penske Racing's No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil team at Pocono raceway in Pocono, PA on August 5, 2012 that includes:

  • Roundtrip transportation to the raceway and hotel accommodations
  • VIP Access to pit road before and during the race
  • A guided tour of pit road, the Sprint Cup garage and the No. 22 Penske team hauler
  • A photo with Sprint Cup driver AJ Allmendinger (subject to availability)
  • Seats for two people above the Shell-Pennzoil pit box (behind crew chief) during the race
  • Two grandstand tickets for the race on August 5, 2012
  • A per diem for miscellaneous trip costs
