Celebrity Guest and Car Show Highlight Grand Opening of Pep Boys Speed Shop April 29 in Las Vegas

 

WHAT:
Pep Boys’ newest Speed Shop, located within the Pep Boys Supercenter on South Jones Blvd. in Las Vegas, Nev., will host a grand opening celebration on Sunday, April 29, with a large car show and celebrity guests, custom automotive designer and WD-40® brand spokesperson Chip Foose, and West Coast Choppers’ CEO, Jesse James, signing autographs.

This event will introduce the new Pep Boys Speed Shop to the local performance enthusiast community and reintroduce Pep Boys to the Las Vegas market. In addition to photo and autograph sessions with Foose and James, and photo opportunities with the Pep Boys mascots - Manny, Moe & Jack, the day-long celebration will feature a large car show, giveaways and special promotions exclusive to the grand opening.

Combining the old-time feel of traditional speed shops with the latest in performance products and accessories, this location is designed to serve enthusiasts with all they need in performance for their rides, from muscle cars and hot rods to sport compacts and imports, trucks and off-roaders.

  • An on-site car show featuring more than 100 modified and collectible cars
  • A horsepower shoot-out dyno challenge – with prizes
  • Music, entertainment, food and giveaways
