Leadership Training
The Pep Boys Management Academy prepares associates to succeed in a management position. It is a two-week, multi-dimensional training program that focuses on developing leadership, financial, communication and operational skills.
Automotive Technical Training
Our Technical Training program assists our service team in learning as much about cars as possible! Because we expect “do it right the first time” service for our customers. Our technicians and mechanics are encouraged and rewarded for obtaining certifications from the Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Pep Boys will reimburse ASE registration and test fees for all passing grades.
On-Line Learning
The Pep Boys online Learning Central courses are available for category specific learning (Tires, Brakes, Batteries, Engines, Custom Wheels, etc.); Pep Boys specific learning (New Hire Orientation, PBY Credit Card, Environmental Compliance, Parts Sourcing, etc.) and development specific learning (MS Office, Time Management, Communication, Delegation, etc.).
Instructor-Led Learning
Besides our extensive online course offering, Pep Boys also has a dedicated training staff to provide instructor-led training. Our trainers are qualified to hold classes on a variety of topics including new systems releases, operational business skills and leadership development.
